How to care for your period swimwear?

1st step: pre-wash

- Rinse by hand under water at room temperature (15 to 20°C) by gently squeezing the swimsuit. Do not twist it to wring it out.

- Rub it gently with organic soap, do not use a brush.

*do not use black soap, Marseille soap or Aleppo soap.

2nd step: washing

- Add the swimsuit with the rest of the laundry in the washing machine.

- Wash it at a maximum of 30°C, in a laundry bag and preferably with an eco-friendly detergent.

It is better to avoid fabric softener, the dryer, or the iron as they may damage the absorption efficiency.

3rd step: drying

- Once your swimsuit is out of the machine, this is the final step to properly maintain your swimsuit.

- Let it air dry, do not tumble dry.

From now on, you can reuse your period swimwear as many times as you want!

When to use my period swimwear?

The period swimwear is ideal for a day at the beach or pool:

- alone, as a precaution for periods

- alone, on days of very light flow (at the very beginning or end of the cycle)

- in addition to an internal protection such as the menstrual cup or organic tampon.

Depending on your flow, wear your swimwear avoiding keeping it on for more than 8 hours.
