It features absorbent technology built into the lining of the swimsuit, which retains menstrual flow without the need for additional sanitary protection.
How do Sorio period swimwear work?
Sorio period swimwear includes an absorbent layer consisting of: The first layer is a honeycomb structure: it is breathable and allows blood to pass through, keeping you dry. The second layer is made of natural bamboo fibre: this is the absorbent layer that captures and channels blood. It also retains odours. The third layer is the waterproof layer that prevents leaks. The outer fabric of the swimsuit is chlorine and UV resistant, extending the life of your Sorio period swimsuit.
Who are Sorio period swimwear designed for?
Our period swimwear is designed for women, teenagers and young girls who want to be able to swim during their period without using sanitary protection (tampons, cups, etc.). At Sorio, we strive for inclusion, which is why we offer period swimwear in sizes XXS to XXL.
How long will my Sorio period swimwear last?
Sorio period swimwear is designed to last. Durability is one of the main design considerations for Sorio swimwear. This is part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and to offering you a reliable product. If you take good care of it, your period swimwear will last at least 5 years. When machine washing, remember to use a laundry net to protect your Sorio swimwear from friction as much as possible.

Sorio period swimwear technology requires the use of synthetic fibres such as polyamide, elastane, nylon and recycled nylon, spandex, cotton and bamboo fibre.
