Sorio is proud to be a member of the associative collective 1% for the Planet. A global network bringing together thousands of businesses and environmental associations working together to protect the Planet and its inhabitants. Every year, we donate 1% of our revenue to associations that are close to our hearts.
ZOOM: The associations we support
Their actions consist of 3 main axes:
1. Participative Marine Conservation
- Restore coral ecosystems using techniques adapted to different contexts.
- Work with local populations
2. Awareness
- Globally, use coral restoration as a tool for awareness
- Locally, promote the sustainable use of ecosystems.
3. Science
- Collaborate with researchers to advance knowledge related to coral ecosystems
- Make marine sciences more accessible to everyone.
Their field actions
- Waste Collection and Studies
For each mission, 3 collection actions are organized each week. Each collection is concluded with the characterization of the collected waste.
- Scientific Collaboration
The data collected from the collections are centralized on participatory science tools.
- Awareness Raising
Awareness-raising actions are organized throughout the year for schools, the general public, businesses, and local elected officials.
Their scope of action
Keep A Breast encourages young women to take care of their breasts, better understand their bodies and to be aware of possible changes.
Keep A Breast focuses on awareness, prevention, and early detection among a target audience of young women aged 25 to 35.
Their goal is to inform and educate. They are constantly looking for innovative ways to reach the maximum number of people around the world.
They have also developed a free self-examination app: "KEEP A BREAST", a preventive action that can save lives.
Sorio is also committed to social inequalities
Sorio is committed to supporting women and adolescent girls and is therefore dedicated to advocating for menstrual causes for those in need.
To this end, Sorio donates menstrual swimwear to the Occitanie association UCRM (Union Cépière Robert Monnier). An association that aims to work with individuals in situations of social disintegration or at risk of vulnerability, and offers social support towards and within housing, accommodation, training, and professional integration.
