Wings of the Ocean is a French nonprofit founded in 2018.
Their mission: to protect the ocean by fighting litter, especially plastic waste.
Waste collection and analysis
On every mission, three cleanups are organized each week. Each cleanup ends with a breakdown of the waste collected.
Scientific collaboration
The data gathered from the cleanups is centralized on citizen science platforms.
Awareness
Awareness activities for schools, the general public, businesses, and local officials are held throughout the year.
The Keep a Breast Europe foundation was created in the United States. It launched in France in 2008, thanks to a small group of dedicated women who decided to bring the concept over.
Their mission: to reduce breast cancer risk and its global impact on women and the environment, through art, education, prevention, and action.
Keep a Breast encourages young women to take care of their breasts, get to know their bodies better, and be aware of possible changes.
The organization focuses on awareness, prevention, and early detection among women aged 25 to 35.
Their goal is to inform and educate. Among other things, they developed a free breast self-exam app, "Keep a Breast," a prevention tool that can save lives.
