FOCUS: The associations we support
Their work is built around 3 main areas:
1. Participatory Marine Conservation
- Restore coral ecosystems using techniques adapted to different contexts.
- Work with local communities
2. Awareness
- Worldwide, use coral restoration as an awareness-raising tool
- Locally, promote the sustainable use of ecosystems.
3. Science
- Collaborate with researchers to advance knowledge related to coral ecosystems
- Make marine science more accessible to everyone.
Their field actions
- Waste collection and analysis
During each mission, 3 collection actions are organized every week. Each collection ends with the characterization of the waste collected.
- Scientific collaboration
The data collected after the clean-ups is centralized using citizen science tools.
- Awareness
Awareness-raising initiatives for schoolchildren, the general public, businesses, and local elected officials are carried out throughout the year.
Their area of action
Keep A Breast encourages young women to take care of their breasts, better understand their bodies and become aware of possible changes.
Keep A Breast focuses on awareness, prevention, and early detection among young women aged 25 to 35.
Their goal is to inform and educate. They are constantly looking for innovative ways to reach as many people as possible around the world.
They have also developed a free self-examination app: "KEEP A BREAST", a preventive action that can save lives.
Sorio is also committed to tackling social inequalities
Sorio is committed to supporting women and teenage girls and is therefore deeply dedicated to supporting menstrual health for people in need.
To do this, Sorio donates period swimsuits to the Occitanie-based association UCRM (Union Cépière Robert Monnier). This association works with people facing social exclusion or vulnerability and provides social support toward and within accommodation, housing, training, and professional integration.
