Sorio has designed high-quality period swimwear based on innovative, ultra-thin absorbent technology made up of:

  1. Honeycomb layer : breathable and hypoallergenic. This part lets blood pass through and keeps you dry.

  2. Absorbent layer : made from natural bamboo fibre, this absorbent layer captures and channels blood.

  3. Waterproof layer : it prevents water from entering the swimsuit and guarantees a leak-free day.

  4. Outer fabric : chlorine- and UV-resistant to extend the life of your period swimsuit.

Our manufacturing factories

To maintain high quality standards and fair, accessible pricing, we design our patterns/models in France and have moved our production to Asia, more specifically southern China.

This is a market reality, and it is also a deliberate choice. We work with two factories that fully meet all quality standards as well as our social and environmental requirements.

These factories are audited every year and visited annually by our team to ensure product manufacturing quality and employees’ living conditions.

Responsible transport

At Sorio, we pay close attention to the environmental impact of every stage of our supply chain, including transport.
Today, 95% of our products are transported by train, a mode of transport known to emit significantly less CO₂ than air or road transport.

This choice requires more demanding logistics and sometimes longer lead times, but it is part of a common-sense approach. By prioritising rail, we significantly reduce our carbon footprint while keeping costs under control, so we can offer more responsible and accessible products.

At Sorio, the choice of materials is essential, especially for products in direct contact with the skin and your intimate area. All our fabrics are carefully selected and certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, an independent label that guarantees the absence of substances harmful to health.

This certification ensures that each textile has been tested, from the raw material to the finished product, to certify textile quality and ensure that it is harmful neither to the environment nor to people.
