To maintain a high standard of quality and fair, affordable pricing, we design our patterns and styles in France and have moved our production to Asia, specifically to southern China.
This is a market reality and also a deliberate choice. We work with two factories that fully comply with all quality standards as well as our social and environmental requirements.
These factories are audited every year and we visit them ourselves annually to check the manufacturing quality of our products and the working conditions of their employees.
At Sorio, we pay close attention to the environmental impact of every step in our supply chain, including transportation. Today, 95% of our products are shipped by train, a mode of transport that emits far less CO₂ than air or road freight.
