Care guide
Sorio reusable period products are washed in three simple steps:
1. Rinse in cold water until no more blood comes out. If there are stains, you can use a mild soap.
2. Machine wash on a delicate cycle (max 30°C / 86°F).
3. Air dry if possible.
Tip:
Don't use a dryer, fabric softener, or bleach. They would reduce effectiveness and shorten the product's life.

What size should I choose?

How much can it absorb?
Our swimwear absorbs the equivalent of 3 to 4 tampons, depending on the absorption level you choose, and protects you for 8 hours.

Does it absorb water and balloon in the pool?
No. That's the key difference from regular period underwear.
The waterproof layer forms a barrier between blood and the water outside: flow stays inside, water stays out. The crotch doesn't balloon or get heavy, even after a long swim.
Can people tell it's period swimwear?
No. The absorption technology is built into the fabric and is only a few millimeters thick.
No diaper effect, no visible bulk: from the outside, it looks like any other swimwear.
How do I care for it?
Rinse it in cold water after each use until the water runs clear, then machine wash it at 30°C (86°F) max, in a laundry bag.
No dryer, no fabric softener, no iron: they would damage the absorption technology. Air dry. Everything is explained in our care guide.
How long does it last?
Several years with proper care. The fabrics are anti-chlorine and UV-protective to stand up to both the pool and the sun.
We recommend having at least two, so you can rotate them and let each one dry completely.
